National Make A Difference Day

On Saturday, October 28, 2006 Kole Imports partnered with Rebuilding Together in conjunction with the Corporate Volunteer Center South Bay to renovate the Wilmington Teen Center.  The Teen Center serves underprivileged children from 7 to 18 years old with after-school programs.  The center provides sports programs, educational and art programs which include tutoring, a computer lab, piano and dance lessons.

We had an awesome day working at the Teen Center.  Our volunteers scrubbed, scraped, ripped up carpeting, laid tile, painted, pulled weeds, installed lighting, and performed a myriad of other chores.  We walked away sore that day, but were happy to be of help to such a worthwhile organization.
